this kitchen herb garden contains four varieties of edible herbs in a windowsill-ready metal trough. Each garden of flat leaf parsley, lemon thyme, silver thyme, and spearmint is naturally cultivated without pesticides or herbicides, and includes three recipe cards with ideas for using your freshly grown herbs.

To build the raised herb garden, the pinners husband used pressure treated 2×4′s, 2×6′s, and 4×4′s. He built the frame out of the pressure treated wood. He use corrugated aluminum roofing to side the raised beds. To trim the sides, he used cedar fencing. Josh bought all of these materials at Lowe’s. – Source: Two Peas and Their Pod. IMPORTANT HEALTH NOTE: Avoid pressure treated wood with CCA-chromated copper arsenate (arsenic), as you dont want arsenic leaching into your soil. There are other pressure treated – non arsenic – woods available. Be healthy.
